Larry started attending
auctions with his grandfather when he was just
12 years old and he was bitten by the auction bug.
He said, "I attended my first mud
auction and watched the crowd respond to the sounds of
the rhythmic auctioneer as he worked the crowd
to sell the wares that came before him that day.
I knew then my calling was to become an auctioneer."

So
after graduating high school, Larry went to auctioneer
school and graduated in 1969. After receiving
his auctioneer license, Larry started out doing benefit
auctions for local volunteer fire companies and churches
as side jobs. By the 1980's he was ready to devote his
full time career to being an auctioneer. Since then, being
an auctioneer has taken him to perform auctions
in Kentucky, Florida, Texas, Virginia, New Jersey and
even as far north as Canada. He still does two sales
a week regularly in New Jersey. More
