Larry formed a partnership
with Mike Hart in the 1990's after providing apprenticeship
to Mike. Even Larry's son,
Eric, has been bitten by the auctioneer bug.
He is following in his father's footsteps and
after apprenticing under Larry, also earned
his auctioneer license. To view upcoming sales,

Reliable Auction Services
came about by fulfilling the requests of customers.
Many consignors have asked Larry about selling
their items on-line, and when a building not far
from Larry's home became available, it seemed like
the perfect time to provide this extra service.
Larry takes pride in conducting his business with
integrity, and his customers appreciate him for
it. Larry chose the name "Reliable Auction
Services" because, in his words, "I wanted
people to know I'm not a fly by night outfit. I've
been doing this business for more than 30 years
and it still excites me every morning to get up
and go about the auction business. No two auctions
are ever the same."
Besides doing two weekly sales in New Jersey, Larry auctions cars in PA
on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. And if that's not enough, most every
weekend, if Larry isn't performing one of his own on-site auctions, he's
off helping other auctioneers with theirs. And he has gone full circle.
Larry can often be found helping out at benefit auctions too.
Larry has been a member
of the Pennsylvania
Auctioneers Association (PAA) since
1983. His license number is AU-001639-L. He has held
every office of the local chapter of the Auctioneers
Association as well as every office, including
that of President of the State Auctioneers
Association (1995). Larry was also voted, by his
peers in the association, as "Auctioneer
of the Year" in 2000.
Larry never stops listening
to the needs of the customer. When he would see
real estate not selling on the auction block, consignors
would then list their property with a local
Real Estate Agent. So as a result, Larry has added
another license to his accomplishments. He
has recently taken and passed the PA Real Estate
test and is a licensed real estate agent. Now
he can provide that service to his customers
as well. |
